EDUCATIONAL DISCOURSE IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS (LITERATURE REVIEW)
Abstract
This thesis presents a comparative analysis of educational discourse in Uzbek and English, aiming to examine the language characteristics, cultural implications, and pedagogical opportunities in both contexts. The study utilizes discourse analysis as its theoretical framework, encompassing speech acts theory, critical discourse analysis, and genre analysis. Corpus linguistics is employed as the primary methodological approach to analyze data gathered from educational materials, curriculum, and academic writing in both languages.
