NAVIGATING PATHS: UNDERSTANDING HOW SELF-EFFICACY AND SELF-ADVOCACY SHAPE CAREER MATURITY IN STUDENTS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENT
Keywords:
Visual Impairment, Career Maturity, Self-EfficacyAbstract
This research investigates the dynamic interplay between self-efficacy, self-advocacy, and career maturity in students with visual impairment. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by this demographic, the study aims to uncover the ways in which individual beliefs in one's capabilities (self-efficacy) and the ability to advocate for oneself (self-advocacy) contribute to the development of career maturity. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews, the research explores the lived experiences of students, providing valuable insights into the factors influencing their career development. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the empowering factors that shape the career trajectories of students with visual impairment.
