FROM THE HISTORY OF THE ACTIVITIES OF CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF ZAMIN DISTRICT IN THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE

Abstract

In this article the fact that the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the gaining of independence, the system of work in all spheres took on a new look, and although in the early years, economic difficulties were encountered in the transition to market relations, a number of reforms were implemented in the economic, social and cultural spheres throughout our country, including the allocation of necessary funds from the local budget for improving the activities of cultural and educational institutions, recreation of the population, and raising the spiritual level, is analyzed using the example of the Zamin district. In particular, in the early years of independence, the activities of libraries, cinemas, clubs and circles in the district were rather weak, but later funds were allocated to improve the material and technical condition of institutions specializing in these areas, and the number of spiritual and educational events aimed at attracting them among the population was increased. In addition, the activities of the Zamin district Museum of local lore were studied, and the importance of the museum in studying the history of the district, cooperation with representatives of the people in increasing the number and scope of museum exhibits, and the high value of the preserved artifacts and antiquities for the people of Zamin to this day were described.

The article also reflects the activities of the “Sharq tongi” newspaper, the official publication of the district administration, which covers all important issues related to the political, social, economic and cultural life of the Zamin district. It discusses the honorary founders of the publication, the interpretation of various articles, and the activities of the publication to date.

As a practical expression of the activities of cultural and educational institutions of the Zamin district during the years of independence, information is provided about the numerous spiritual and educational events held in the district on various topics, including the internationally held "Maqom Festival" to the annual "Uriklisoy Ilhomlari" literary and educational events for young writers and a number of other events.

In addition, this article reveals the history of the activities of ethnographic groups such as "Zamin Sayqali" and "Zamin Lolasi", which play an important role in the spiritual development of the population of the Zamin district, especially its youth.
