Refining The Methodology For Developing Oral Communication Skills In Future English Teachers: An Innovative And Differentiated Approach

The development of robust oral communication skills is a cornerstone of effective English language teaching, yet traditional pedagogical approaches often fail to address the diverse proficiency levels, learning styles, and affective filters present among future English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers. This article critically analyzes the limitations of conventional, one-size-fits-all speaking instruction and proposes a refined methodology grounded in an innovative and differentiated approach. By integrating flipped classroom models, task-based language teaching (TBLT) with tiered assignments, and multimodal feedback mechanisms, the proposed framework tailors instruction to individual learner needs while maximizing authentic communicative practice. The goal is to move beyond controlled dialogues toward spontaneous, fluent, and pragmatically competent oral production. The article argues that differentiation, when combined with innovative technology-enhanced tools such as AI-driven pronunciation coaching and virtual reality (VR) simulations, creates a powerful synergy for accelerating communicative competence.
